A few glam photos

I have cleaned and polished the hood a front fenders with Poorboy's World polish and sealant after removing tree sap and tar with rubbing alcohol. I used clay for the first time too, It picked up some particulates that washing missed.

I have new silicon wipers that I am installing when I remove the wiper arms for a flat-black re-paint

No polishing done on the euro looking back end yet. you will notice how dull the paint looks.

Unfortunately the  car has quite a few of these, long white scratches. note the high-gloss from the polish. this is after a 200 mile road trip.

The Car

In 1993 Honda Motor Company produced a very versatile wagon;
The Accord EX Wagon.
This car was available fully loaded making it the most luxurious car made by Honda for that year.
I was lucky enough to find this car with a 5 speed transmission and every option from the factory installed, including: moonroof, remote keyless entry, A/C, 7 segment equalizer with tape deck and subwoofer, fog lamps, cruise control, power windows and mirrors, 4 wheel disc abs brakes, child seat restraints, and roof rack. Aftermarket addition include Japan version springs lowering the car by 2-1/2" 17 inch alloy rims and a 2" trailer hitch.

Naturally a car built 20 years ago with 176k mile on it will need some refurbishing. This blog will be a record of that project.  I hope my experience with this phenomenally practical and sporty vehicle can help others with similar restorations.
